Avanta Homes was founded in Surrey, British Columbia with a clear mission: to transform how British Columbians build and own secondary structures. We saw an opportunity to bring factory-precision manufacturing to the cabin and ADU market, delivering superior quality at competitive prices while dramatically reducing construction timelines.

Our journey began when founder James Morrison recognized that traditional on-site construction was plagued by weather delays, inconsistent quality, and unpredictable costs\u2014problems that factory-built prefabrication could solve. Starting with a small team of skilled craftspeople, we built our first prefab cabins in a modest shop, perfecting our techniques before expanding to our current 25,000 sq ft manufacturing facility.

Today, Avanta Homes is recognized as British Columbia's leading manufacturer of modern prefab cabins, ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units), and backyard offices. We've completed over 150 installations across the province\u2014from Vancouver Island to the Okanagan, from Whistler ski properties to remote Northern BC retreats.

What sets us apart is our commitment to 100% BC Building Code compliance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Every cabin we build is engineered to withstand BC's diverse climate conditions, from coastal humidity to interior temperature extremes. Our structures are certified by BC Safety Authority for electrical and plumbing, and we handle all permitting and approvals on behalf of our clients.
